StockX - How To

StockX needed a compelling video series to clearly explain its system of buying, selling, and placing bids in a visually engaging and authentic way. The goal was to enhance user understanding while reinforcing the platform’s credibility and ease of use, but the challenge lay in distilling the complexities of StockX’s marketplace into concise, digestible content without losing clarity or authenticity. Additionally, the project required scaling efficiently while meeting a strict deadline.
To address these hurdles, we conducted a close discovery phase to ensure accuracy and authenticity in every aspect of the videos. We expanded our subcontractor network to optimize production and structured the content into four distinct videos, each covering a fundamental pillar of the StockX experience—shoes, watches, handbags and streetwear.
The results exceeded expectations. These videos became the most viewed StockX content for several years, significantly improving user comprehension and engagement. By successfully educating users on the buying and selling process, we helped StockX streamline transactions and enhance customer confidence.
This project demonstrated our ability to execute large-scale educational content with precision and impact, reinforcing our expertise in digital storytelling and instructional design.

When Minnesota Rokkr approached us, they had a clear vision: a high-energy tournament intro that would captivate audiences and define their team’s identity. They wanted something visually striking and fully hand-drawn—an ambitious request given the limited two-month timeline.
The challenge was multifaceted. Not only did the animation need to meet a highly stylized aesthetic, but it also had to accurately portray the likenesses of players, some of whom were subject to last-minute roster changes. The complexity of hand-drawn animation, combined with these dynamic adjustments, made the project a race against time.
To tackle these hurdles, we devised an innovative approach. Instead of focusing solely on player likenesses, we connected each competitor to a unique animal avatar, providing creative flexibility while maintaining individuality. This solution not only simplified last-minute adjustments but also added a dynamic, engaging layer to the animation. Our team leaned into bold, high-impact visuals with fluid motion, dramatic lighting, and intense energy to ensure the final product stood out.
Despite the tight timeline, our agile workflow allowed us to deliver on time while maintaining quality. The final animation premiered to an electrified crowd, generating an unparalleled reaction. The client was beyond pleased with the result, leading to additional collaborations, including projects for both Minnesota Rokkr and their Rocket League division and setting a new standard for e-sports branding.
