The Ask

MRM required a series of short, high-quality videos for the Cadillac XT4 website, showcasing both the vehicle’s sleek interior features and on-screen talent. These videos needed to highlight the craftsmanship, technology, and luxury of the XT4’s design while seamlessly integrating human interaction to create a more engaging and relatable experience for viewers. Each segment focused on specific interior components, demonstrating their functionality, premium materials, and cutting-edge innovation, all while maintaining Cadillac’s signature aesthetic and brand identity.

The Challenge

Unfortunately the dashboard display didn’t fully exist yet and most of the backgrounds were cluttered and unpolished. We also had to deal with a moving camera in certain shots. So along with editing duties, we were tasked with dashboard recreation, color and clean up.  

The Solution

To make this work, we used Photoshop and After Effects to composite the missing dashboard piece by piece over “unlocked” footage using reference materials. This required camera tracking and some hand-done animation, ensuring it looked seamless in every shot. We also cleaned up the backgrounds and enhanced the color to create a polished, high-end aesthetic that matched Cadillac’s brand. After that, we provided all finished edits complete with motion graphics.
