The Stats

Project: Chevy Equinox Commercial

Client: Commonwealth McCann – Chevy

Producer: Anthony Bommarito

Director: Sean King O’Grady

Crew Size: 25 (plus 10 agency/client representatives)

Budget: $100,000

Timeline: 3 Weeks from bidding to delivery. 1 day shoot.

The Ask

The agency approached us to create a series of short broadcast spots showcasing the Chevy Equinox, featuring dynamic running footage of the vehicle in motion on the road. The goal was to capture the Equinox’s performance, sleek design, and road presence in a way that felt both engaging and cinematic.

“That’s gonna be some hard workin’ footage for us.”
The Challenge

For this, we aimed to capture both sunrise and sunset in the middle of summer—when daylight hours are at their longest. This presented a major logistical challenge, requiring precise scheduling to make the most of our single-day shoot.

The Solution

To overcome this, we staggered our crew and maximized our time on location. The day started with drone footage at sunrise, moved into in-car shots during midday, and concluded with the arm car for sunset sequences. This strategic approach ensured we captured the full range of lighting conditions while maintaining efficiency and staying within budget.
