Disney+ needed a brand video that effectively explained the app’s safeguards and age restriction settings for underage viewers, ensuring clarity for a global audience. The objective was to communicate these security features in a visually engaging and accessible way.

The Challenge

The biggest road block on this project was the extremely tight 14-day timeline with the need for localization to reach a worldwide audience. Oh yeah, there was no script or overall concept for how we would tell this story.

The Solution

We began by submitting several different concepts with scripts and styles. A script and approach was chosen. We opted for a fully illustrated 2D animation, allowing for efficiency without compromising design quality. One team on backgrounds, one team on characters and one team animating. This approach ensured a visually cohesive and easily adaptable video for multiple languages and regions.
