The Ask

Continue the tradition of creating three stunning spots for the well-established Pure Michigan brand, a campaign known for its breathtaking cinematography and evocative storytelling. Our mission was twofold: to bring key scripted moments to life with authenticity and emotion while also capturing a diverse range of visuals that could serve as a lasting asset for future campaigns.

The Challenge

The challenge was balancing these two objectives—capturing the key scripted moments with precision while simultaneously building a versatile visual library— all while maintaining a high production value and efficiency throughout the shoot. With tight schedules, changing weather conditions, and the need to capture both authentic storytelling and stunning landscapes, our team had to remain agile, creative, and resourceful to ensure that every shot met the high standards of the Pure Michigan brand.

The Solution

We strategically boarded scenes around key moments that matched the scripts. This approach allowed us to shoot entire scenes, maximizing the use of characters and locations while also ensuring we captured the most impactful moments in a stylistically cohesive manner. As a result, we were able to simultaneously fulfill the scripted needs and create a versatile content library for the client.
